Cuba Souvenirs
When wondering about what souvenirs to bring from Cuba, you’ll always think of Cuba’s best known: rum and cigars! In tourist shops you can find good rum brands, for example „Havana Club 7 años“ or „Havana Club 15 años“. If you want to try some cigars, it’s worth buying „Cohiba“ or „Montecristo“.
Cuban music on CDs, tapes or records, also knows as Salsa, is an important export product which you can find in souvenir shops, too.
Unique souvenirs can be found mostly on art markets. The characteristical Cuban vintage cars made of colourful soda cans are hit sales. Craftspeople exceed themselves at producing Creole dolls, accessories, jewellery and garden or kids furniture in various types made of raw materials like wood, fabric, shells or sisal. You can find plenty of crochet work, straw hats and bags, copies of old Spanish sailing ships in miniature and much more.
